Magic Gate will automatically open the gate for you when you approach the gate. It is intended for roads/garage gate systems which are opened using phone dial. The application runs in the background and probes your location using cellular network. When getting close to the gate (1 KM) it’ll switch to use GPS to get your fine location. When getting to the configured distance, it’ll call the gate number for you.

This is convenient for car drivers who needs to dial the gate while driving in order to open it. Note that the application will work only when you’re approaching the gate from far-enough distance (~2 KM) since it is not constantly uses the GPS receiver (for longer battery life). You can configure multiple gates and see the distance from each gate at any time. When configuring the gate, you can either be at the gate’s location to get your exact fix, or use the map to place the gate on it.

Observe que o aplicativo só funciona quando você está se aproximando do portão de longe o suficiente distância (~ KM 2), uma vez que não é constantemente usa o receptor de GPS (para maior vida útil da bateria). Você pode configurar múltiplas portas e ver a distância de cada porta a qualquer momento. Ao configurar o portão, você pode estar no local o portão para obter a sua correção exata, ou usar o mapa para colocar o portão sobre ele.
